This is mature humus compost with abundant, diverse microbial life to feed and inoculate your soil and build lasting fertility. Master composter Steven Wynbrandt makes every batch by hand on family farmlands in coastal Los Angeles County.
What’s in it: Unparalleled ingredients, sourced directly from their origins: organic-certified alfalfa hay, manure from organic-certified dairies, wood chips, leaves, rock dust, biochar, eggshells, and the six Biodynamic preparations (yarrow, chamomile, stinging nettle, oak bark, dandelion and valerian). It also contains our own vermicompost, made from the same ingredients.
What gardeners see: Vigorous growth, deeper color, more vibrant blooms and bigger harvests.
How to use:
In beds: Add ½ inch or more, mix into the top few inches of soil, and water.
For potting mixes and transplanting: Mix in at 20% compost or more.
It won’t burn plants, so use it generously.
For: Vegetable, herb, flower and medicinal gardens, orchards, vineyards, lawns, and any plant that thrives in rich soil.
